Baby Shark

Baby Shark is a small aquatic enemy found in the water-heavy chapters of Mewgenics. It is a weaker variant that appears alongside its parent the Daddy Shark, and functions as a melee attacker that uses the water terrain to approach and withdraw from targets. Like other shark-type enemies, it is most dangerous in environments with extensive water coverage.
Baby Sharks are individually manageable but tend to appear in groups, and Daddy Shark can spawn additional Baby Sharks during combat. Managing Daddy Shark is therefore the priority to prevent Baby Shark numbers from escalating. Their low HP makes them susceptible to splash damage and AoE abilities, but water tile immunity means conventional terrain control has limited effect.
Focus Daddy Shark first to prevent more Baby Sharks from entering the fight. Against existing Baby Sharks, AoE abilities that cover water tiles are the most efficient way to clear them in bulk. Ice-element attacks that freeze water tiles also limit the movement of the entire shark family simultaneously, making them highly effective in water-heavy rooms. Individual Baby Sharks can be dispatched quickly with any modest attack given their low HP.
