Caveman Man

The Caveman Man is a melee fighter found in the Ice Age chapter as part of the caveman faction. It uses a multi-hit melee attack and attempts to pick up Spears from the battlefield during combat, upgrading its offense when armed. Like all cavemen, it hates Cats and will prioritize attacking cat-type enemies when they are in range.

The spear pickup behavior means Caveman Man actively seeks weapons left on the ground and becomes more dangerous if it finds one. The multi-hit melee is threatening even unarmed, capable of landing several strikes per action against adjacent cats. In large caveman groups, Caveman Man fills a frontline role alongside the Caveman Chief, applying melee pressure while the Chief provides rally support.

Clear Spears from the field or keep Caveman Man away from them to prevent the weapon upgrade. Knockback abilities interrupt its multi-hit attack pattern. In Ice Age rooms mixing Sabertooth Cats with cavemen, the two factions' mutual hatred means they may fight each other briefly — but be cautious since Were Man transformations can occur when cats land kills on cavemen in that chapter.
