Edema

An immobile swollen mass found in The End that poses no direct threat — but time is against you. Edema has a built-in countdown timer, and when it expires the creature evolves into a Husk. Killing it first spawns Thorny tumors as a parting hazard. Based on an enemy of the same name from Edmund McMillen's The End is Nigh.
