Skeleton Shambler Revived

The Skeleton Shambler Revived is the post-resurrection form of the Skeleton Shambler, appearing after the original Shambler's shield is destroyed and its corpse is left intact. It returns to the fight with its shield fully restored, functionally identical to the base Shambler in behavior and threat level. It is found in the Desert and The Infinite chapters.

The Revived form retains all the same traits as the original: it throws nearby units when attacking, lunges randomly at the end of its turn, and can only be damaged through its shield with normal attacks. If its shield is depleted a second time, it collapses into a corpse again and will revive once more unless the corpse is eliminated. In theory, without corpse-destruction capabilities, the cycle can repeat indefinitely.

Once the Shambler has already revived, the priority is to destroy the corpse on the turn it falls, before it can stand again. Abilities that trigger corpse destruction or deal damage to fallen enemies are the most reliable permanent solution. Bleed effects remain the easiest counter, as they bypass the shield entirely and kill the Shambler without leaving a recoverable corpse.
