Grub Set

The Grub Set boosts every grub you spawn with +5 HP, significantly increasing their survivability on the battlefield. Grubs are naturally fragile, so the HP boost transforms them from disposable distractions into legitimate threats that can soak hits. Best used on builds that actively generate grubs through abilities or item effects, and the bonus stacks with Druid Set damage buffs for maximum value.

Grub Set pieces use larva and grub-themed gear across head, neck, and face slots. The 3-piece bonus applies +5 HP to every grub familiar you spawn. Grubs are small insect-type familiars typically spawned by certain abilities or status effects (such as wounds that generate maggots). Without a reliable source of grub spawns, the set bonus provides no value.

Grub Set is a niche familiar-booster that shines in very specific builds. If your character regularly produces grubs via abilities, weapon effects, or wounds, the +5 HP makes those grubs durable enough to meaningfully contribute to combat rather than die on first contact. The Rotten Set's Champion upgrade applies to bugs and maggots, which combines powerfully with Grub Set's HP buff for hardened champion grubs. Druid Set's +4 HP and +1 Damage complement it further. Outside of grub-generation builds, this set has no value.
