Neck Grub

An uncommon neck armor from The Desert, part of the Grub set. Provides +3 Shield and a unique failsafe: when your shield is fully depleted and the armor breaks, it transforms into a Maggot familiar that fights alongside you. Losing this piece isn't purely a setback — it generates a combat ally in exchange for the lost defense. Pairs with the Head Grub and Face Grub, each independently converting into a Maggot on break for up to three familiars from a single run.
