Item Set
Monk Set
Gain +2 Shield at the end of each turn.
The Monk Set regenerates +2 Shield at the end of each turn, providing a steady defensive rhythm suited to patient, sustained-damage styles. The recurring shield makes you increasingly hard to burst down over multiple turns, and it stacks naturally with other shield-generating abilities or items. A reliable backbone for melee builds that stay in the thick of combat and need consistent protection.
Monk Set pieces use martial arts and temple-themed gear across head, neck, and face slots. The 3-piece bonus grants +2 Shield at the end of every turn. Shield absorbs damage before it reaches your HP, and since this regen happens every turn you act, the protection compounds in longer fights. Over a 5-turn combat, that's +10 Shield generated just from the set bonus, on top of any starting or other shield sources.
Monk Set is one of the most universally useful defensive sets. The end-of-turn Shield regen provides protection even in fights where you don't get hit early, and stacks with Gemstone Set's +3 Shield per turn for combined +5 Shield per turn. Sludge Set provides the same Shield amount but might have different timing (start vs. end of turn). Monk Set is particularly strong in prolonged encounters where the regen accumulates into a substantial buffer. Any melee or tank build that expects multi-turn fights should consider this set as a core defensive foundation.
