The Car Battery is a very rare weapon that delivers a powerful electric shock to enemies on contact, dealing Lightning damage. A large, industrial source of electricity, it provides substantial damage output but requires direct physical contact with the target.

The Car Battery's Lightning damage benefits from the same Wet and Metal vulnerability interactions as other electric weapons, making it synergize well with water-element items. The shock may also apply Stun, briefly incapacitating the target after the initial jolt. As a melee weapon, you need to close distance to apply the electric charge, making it a close-quarters energy weapon rather than a ranged option.

Car Battery pairs excellently with the Tesla Cannon in an all-lightning loadout, providing close-range backup when the Cannon's range isn't ideal. Tinkerer builds that interact with mechanical or electrical items get synergy value from the Battery's industrial construction. Apply water status to enemies before charging in for amplified Lightning damage per hit.
