Empty Syringe

A rare trinket that passively amplifies all status effects your cat applies via AmplifyStatus. Empty Syringe is the dedicated status amplifier — without adding new debuffs itself, it simply makes every status you already apply hit harder, last longer, or stack higher. Pairs with any item that inflicts Poison, Bleed, Freeze, or other DoTs, and becomes exponentially better the more status sources your build contains.

AmplifyStatus applies to all status effects regardless of source — basic attack procs, ability-applied statuses, on-hit trinket effects, and any elemental statuses from Conductor all benefit simultaneously. The amplification multiplies across each source, so running Nightshade (Poison + its own AmplifyStatus) alongside Empty Syringe results in double amplification on the Poison output. Status builds scale sharply when multiple amplifiers stack.

Empty Syringe is a force-multiplier rather than a standalone power piece — it does nothing without other status sources in your build. Slot it once you have at least two status-applying items, at which point its value increases with each additional source you add. Excellent in DoT-heavy runs stacking Bleed, Poison, and Burn from multiple trinkets and abilities simultaneously. Skip it in builds with no status application whatsoever.
