Guillotina's Head

Guillotina's Head is a cursed quest face armor from the Guts item set, obtained by defeating the Guillotina 3 boss. Wearing it ensures all battles become Hard difficulty, and enemies always prioritize attacking the wearer over other cats. Basic attacks have a +10% chance to inflict Fear, and any contact may also trigger Fear. If the holder is defeated, the Head returns to inventory rather than being lost — and it is required to access The Throbbing Domain.

The forced aggro mechanic means the Guillotina's Head wearer becomes the team's mandatory tank — all enemies redirect their attacks toward that cat regardless of positioning. This is powerful if the carrier is built for survivability, but catastrophic if placed on a fragile cat. The Fear application on contact creates an incidental crowd-control effect that can lock down enemies who attack the wearer, turning their aggression against them.

Equip Guillotina's Head on your tankiest, highest-HP cat — preferably one with Shield stacking, damage reduction, or frequent healing. The Hard difficulty escalation demands a stronger overall party, so delay equipping it until your run is in good shape. The Head's inability to be permanently lost (returning to inventory on death) makes it safe to carry despite the risks, and it is a mandatory possession for accessing The Throbbing Domain questline.
