Hybrid Hat

Common head armor from the Hybrid set. Applies Bleed and fires a projectile whenever you move. Pairs with the Hybrid Necklace's Bruise and Charge and the Hybrid Mask's Poison and Quivered to form the eclectic Hybrid set — a deliberate mix of status effects and combat styles. Not the deepest specialization, but a common-rarity set that covers multiple vectors of pressure without requiring rare drops.

Bleed applies a damage-over-time debuff that causes ongoing HP loss each turn. MoveQuivered differs from Quivered (on the Hybrid Mask) in that it specifically triggers on movement actions rather than any action, producing a projectile every time the cat repositions. This means highly mobile cats generate significantly more projectile hits from the Hybrid Hat than stationary ones. The head slot piece in the Hybrid set is the only piece that synergizes specifically with movement frequency.

The Hybrid Hat is strongest on cats that move every turn, such as kiting builds or ability-heavy cats that constantly reposition. MoveQuivered pairs naturally with movement-boosting abilities, turning normal repositioning into free ranged damage over the course of a fight. In the full Hybrid set context, the Hat adds Bleed and movement-triggered projectiles to the poison, charge, quivered, and bruise contributions of the other pieces — a complete status and multi-hit package at common rarity.
