Paper Mask

The Paper Mask is the face armor piece of the Paper set, with the same profile as the Paper Hat: +1 Bleed Thorns, basic attack inflicts Bleed, and the full quartet of weaknesses — Fragile, Brittle, Flammable, and Melts in Water. Running both the hat and mask doubles the Bleed Thorns reflection and doubles the Bleed application on basic attacks, which stacks meaningfully in fights where you take hits frequently.

The same caveats apply: four vulnerability types make this fragile against a wide range of hazards. Paper set builds thrive when you can control the environment — avoid water and fire zones, and pair with Crisp Paper and Pinwheel for full set bonuses.

The Paper Mask is a core piece of a Bleed-stack build: combined with the Paper Hat, you apply Bleed twice per basic attack (once from each piece) and reflect Bleed twice on each incoming hit. Pair with the Toolbox trinket to remove the Brittle and Fragile properties, eliminating two of the four vulnerabilities and significantly extending the items' lifespan. In a controlled environment like The Alley where fire and water are manageable, the Paper set's offensive Bleed output becomes genuinely threatening.
