Paper Shoulder Pads

A common neck armor from The Alley, part of the Paper set. Grants no base shield, but makes up for it offensively: your basic attacks inflict Bleed, and enemies who hit you take Bleed Thorns damage in return. Together these create a passive bleed engine that punishes enemies for attacking you while also spreading Bleed through your own strikes. The catch is that Paper Shoulder Pads are extremely fragile — Brittle, Fragile, Flammable, and they break on elemental contact. They're a high-value early Bleed enabler, but treat them as temporary and replace them when something sturdier comes along.
