A monstrously heavy neck piece that renders the wearer completely immobile but transforms them into a living hazard zone. Steven's Gobbler grants CON +6 for an enormous HP pool while SPD -99 ensures the cat will never take another turn — they simply stand there. Any enemy that makes contact is knocked back with amplified force and inflicted with a status from the AddStatusToKnockbackDamage passive, and MeleeRevengeDamage punishes direct hits further. Best used on a cat positioned as a physical obstacle, blocking chokepoints and punishing anything brave enough to approach.

SPD -99 is not a typo — it is an intentional extreme that makes the wearer functionally immovable in the initiative order, effectively transforming a team member into a permanent battlefield fixture. The CON +6 ensures this fixture has enormous HP and can absorb a great deal of punishment. AmplifyKnockback increases the distance enemies are pushed, which matters for stage hazards or positioning strategies. MeleeRevengeDamage returns damage to melee attackers. AddStatusToKnockbackDamage adds a debuff to any enemy struck by the knockback.

This item intentionally sacrifices a full party slot's turn economy to create an unkillable physical barrier with reactive damage. Best placed in a narrow corridor or chokepoint where its immobility doesn't matter and enemies have no way around it. Works as a decoy if the rest of the team is positioned to deal damage from safety behind the Gobbler. Part of the Steven set, suggesting it's designed as a pair with Steven's more agile offensive pieces.
