Stone Helmet

Stone Helmet is a common head armor that grants the Brace passive, which reduces damage from incoming hits. There's no shield stat, just pure damage mitigation through mass and thickness. A straightforward early-game head piece for any frontline cat that wants a basic defensive layer in the head slot.

Brace reduces the physical force of incoming attacks, lowering knockback distance and potentially reducing damage from force-scaling hits. It applies permanently without any cooldown or condition — every hit against the wearer benefits from the reduction. No shield means there's no absorbable pool to deplete, but the Brace reduction applies directly to health damage taken, providing a flat mitigation layer.

Stone Helmet is a pure early-game filler — no downsides, no special mechanics, just basic damage mitigation. Replace it as soon as any head armor with shield value or useful passives appears. The Brace passive is good but appears on stronger items at higher rarities (Friendly Amoeba, Skull Clamp, Leather Hide Mask). Equip it only when the head slot would otherwise go empty.
