Entangled
Immobile. Use basic attack to break free.
Entangled wraps a unit in vines, roots, or tendrils that restrict movement without fully immobilizing them. An Entangled unit has their Speed significantly reduced and may be unable to use movement-based abilities, though they can still attack and use non-movement skills from their current position.
Entangled is similar to Slow but more restrictive, sitting between Slow and full Immobile on the movement-denial spectrum. It is commonly applied by nature-themed enemies and terrain effects. Unlike Webbed, which is a full root, Entangled still allows limited repositioning in some cases. Fire-element abilities can burn away entangling vines, providing a natural counter. Cats that rely heavily on mobility or positioning-based abilities are most vulnerable to Entangled, while ranged attackers can often continue fighting effectively despite the movement penalty.
