Bumblefoot is a mini-boss encountered in The Bunker, a bizarre creature with a strict three-step attack cycle that revolves around jumping, spewing bones, and feasting on corpses. Its predictable rotation makes it one of the more learnable mini-bosses in the game, but the corpse-eating mechanic introduces a permanent death risk that demands careful ability management from the player.
Bumblefoot's three-move cycle plays out in strict order. Bumble Jump leaps to an area, causing knockback and damage around the landing zone; after leaping, Bumblefoot's head gets stuck in the ground, leaving it temporarily vulnerable. Bone Spurt scatters bones in a 2-tile radius around itself. The third phase is its feeding turn, where Bumblefoot will eat any bodies on the field, and if there are no corpses available, it will eat living units instead. This makes abilities like Play Dead and Seppuku extremely dangerous, as they create corpses or downed cats that Bumblefoot will consume, permanently killing them.
The head-stuck-in-ground phase after Bumble Jump is your primary damage window, so save your strongest attacks for this moment. Inflicting Fear while Bumblefoot's head is underground forces it to pass turns, drastically reducing its damage output and extending the vulnerable window. Avoid creating any corpses or downed cats during this fight, and revive downed cats immediately before Bumblefoot's feeding turn arrives. Spread your team to minimize Bumble Jump's AoE damage and keep cats away from the bone scatter radius. The fight rewards patient, cycle-aware play over aggressive rushing.
