Pyrophina

Pyrophina is a House Boss and one of two kaiju-scale creatures involved in the third House Boss encounter of Act 2, where she battles Zaratana in a massive crossfire fight that your retired cats must survive. Unlike standard boss encounters where you focus on killing the boss directly, this fight is about navigating the devastating collateral damage from two enormous creatures trying to destroy each other while your party is caught in the middle.

Pyrophina's moveset is built around fire and physical force. Toss grabs whatever is in front of her and hurls it at Zaratana. Roar inflicts Fear on nearby units. At half health, she activates Firestorm, applying +1 Burn to all units at the end of each round for the rest of the fight. Volcano Stomp jumps and ignites the map edges into fire tiles while cleansing her debuffs and granting +1 Strength. Spin Throw lets her sprint to Zaratana, pick her up, and hurl her into the edge of the arena. Both kaiju primarily target each other and mostly ignore your party, but the massive AoE attacks and terrain destruction make simply being in the arena extremely dangerous.

You only need to survive until one kaiju kills the other. Whichever boss dies determines your reward: if Zaratana falls, Pyrophina joins your journey and wishes to activate an obelisk on the moon, and you receive Pyrophina's Collar. The fight ends when either kaiju is defeated, so focusing your damage on one of them to speed up the conclusion is a valid strategy. Keep your retired cats toward the center of the arena to avoid Volcano Stomp's edge ignition, and bring Fire-resistant equipment or healing to counteract Firestorm's persistent burn damage in the second half of the fight.
