Disorder

Albinism

Fire damage you take inflicts +3 Burn.

Albinism makes fire damage your cat takes inflict +3 additional Burn stacks on top of whatever Burn the attack would normally apply. This means any source of fire damage becomes significantly more dangerous, as the extra Burn 3 stacks deal extended damage over time. In fights with fire-wielding enemies, lava terrain, or any burn-inflicting mechanics, Albinism dramatically increases the threat level.

Albinism is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The fire vulnerability is particularly problematic because Burn is one of the more common status effects in Mewgenics, appearing on many enemy attacks, terrain tiles, and even from ally disorders like Spontaneous Combustion and Flaming Fists.

Strategically, Albinism is a purely negative disorder that should be replaced when possible. The +3 extra Burn from fire damage can stack rapidly in fire-heavy encounters, potentially killing the cat from Burn ticks alone. The Charred disorder (immune to Burn) would completely neutralize Albinism's weakness, but since both would occupy your two disorder slots, you are better off simply removing Albinism. If you cannot remove it, avoid fire-themed locations and enemies, and keep fire-resistance items or burn-cleansing abilities on hand.
