Dysentery gives your cat a 50% chance to leave burning poop directly behind it when ending its turn. Burning poop is a terrain hazard that deals fire damage to any unit that steps on it, creating a trail of dangerous tiles behind your cat as it moves across the battlefield. The 50% trigger rate means burning poop appears roughly every other turn, gradually filling the map with fire hazards.

Dysentery is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The burning poop damages any unit that walks over it, making it dangerous for both enemies and allies. Mobile cats that move frequently create more burning poop tiles, which can deny large areas of the battlefield to enemy movement.

Strategically, Dysentery is a strong area-denial tool that creates fire hazards across the map. It pairs well with Charred (immune to Burn) to let your cat safely walk through its own burning poop. Scatological (heal 5 HP when damaging poop) synergizes by providing healing from the poop spawns. The disorder excels on mobile cats that cover lots of ground, creating burning poop trails that funnel enemies or punish their movement. It is less useful on stationary cats that only create poop in one spot.
