Eating Disorder
Double the effects of your consumables but you are confused on how to eat them.
Eating Disorder doubles the effects of your consumable items but causes confusion about how to eat them, likely meaning the items are consumed in an unpredictable or delayed manner. The doubled consumable power is a significant bonus, making healing items restore twice as much HP, buff items provide twice the stat boost, and any other consumable effects scale to double their normal value.
Eating Disorder is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The confusion element likely introduces some randomness or delay to consumable use, such as targeting the wrong unit, using the item at a random time, or applying the effect unpredictably. This creates a trade-off between doubled power and reduced control.
Strategically, Eating Disorder is valuable on cats that use consumables frequently, particularly healing items where doubling the effect directly translates to better sustain. The confusion downside is manageable if you use consumables with broad effects that are useful regardless of timing or targeting. It pairs well with Diabetes (which rewards food consumption) and Pica (which converts pickups to healing) to create a consumable-focused build. Avoid it on cats that need precise consumable timing in critical moments.
