Psychosis

After your first turn, you have permanent madness.

Psychosis gives your cat permanent Madness after its first turn in every battle. Madness causes the cat to attack any random unit on the battlefield, friend or foe, rather than following your commands. After the first controlled turn, you lose all control of the cat for the rest of the fight. This is one of the most severe behavioral disorders, effectively turning your cat into an autonomous hostile unit after turn one.

Psychosis is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. Unlike Sociopathy (Madness on first turn only), Psychosis makes the Madness permanent, meaning the cat is uncontrollable for the entire battle after turn one. The AI-controlled cat will attack the nearest unit regardless of allegiance, making it a danger to both enemies and allies.

Psychosis is almost always a disaster and should be replaced immediately. The one controlled turn per battle means you get a single action before losing the cat entirely. In solo cat scenarios where there are no allies to hit, the Madness is slightly less dangerous since the cat will only target enemies. Pairing with Soulless (immune to debuffs) might prevent the Madness if it is classified as a debuff, but this needs testing. For most builds, Psychosis is one of the worst disorders to have.
