Violent Outbursts

When you end your turn, dash forward 2 tiles, attack with Knockback, and take 1 damage.

Violent Outbursts triggers at the end of each turn, causing your cat to dash forward 2 tiles, attack with Knockback, and take 1 damage. This involuntary action happens every turn after your normal actions, providing a free attack with positioning disruption but at the cost of self-damage and uncontrolled movement. The dash moves the cat 2 tiles forward regardless of what is in the way, and the Knockback pushes the target away.

Violent Outbursts is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The end-of-turn trigger means you cannot prevent the outburst from happening. The 2-tile dash repositions your cat forward, which may put it in a dangerous position or push it toward enemies. The 1 self-damage per turn adds up over long fights.

Strategically, Violent Outbursts provides a free attack each turn but with unpredictable positioning consequences. The Knockback can be useful for pushing enemies away from fragile allies or off map edges. The 1 self-damage is manageable with healing support. The disorder is best on aggressive melee cats that benefit from the extra attack and do not mind the forward dash. It synergizes with on-hit effects from Feline Aids, Flaming Fists, or Williams Syndrome since the outburst attack can trigger those effects. Avoid it on ranged or support cats that need to maintain distance.
