Hardy is the boss variant of the stun-immunity elite buff, granting complete immunity to Stun while increasing the boss's size by 10%. All stun-based abilities, items, and effects are completely negated. The boss has an orange-brown tint and simply ignores any Stun status that would be applied, continuing to act on its normal turn schedule without interruption.
On bosses, Hardy removes one of the most valuable tools for managing dangerous encounters. Boss fights often rely on timed stuns to interrupt powerful charge-up abilities or to create safe windows for healing and repositioning. A Hardy boss forces your team to absorb every attack and find other ways to manage incoming damage. This is especially dangerous on bosses with telegraphed high-damage moves that you would normally stun through.
Focus on alternative control methods like Tarred for Speed reduction, Frozen for lockdown, or knockback for repositioning. Damage-over-time effects let you deal damage passively while focusing on dodging and surviving. High burst damage that kills before the boss's most dangerous abilities activate is the most reliable strategy. Classes with strong defensive tools like the Tank or Paladin can absorb hits that you would normally avoid through stunning. Bring healing and sustain since the fight will be more attrition-heavy without stun windows.
