Hardy grants the elite enemy complete immunity to stuns, while also slightly increasing its physical size by 10%. This means that any abilities, items, or passives your cats rely on to stun-lock enemies will have zero effect. The orange-brown tinted enemy simply shrugs off Stun and continues acting normally, removing one of the most powerful crowd-control tools from your arsenal.

Hardy is most threatening on enemies that you would normally prioritize stunning, such as high-damage bruisers or enemies with dangerous abilities that need to be interrupted. A Hardy version of a heavy-hitting enemy like a Brute or a Golem means you cannot buy extra turns by keeping it locked down. In encounters with multiple enemies, a Hardy elite demands immediate attention since your usual stun-based tempo plays will not slow it down at all.

Since stunning is off the table, focus on alternative crowd control like Tarred to reduce its Speed, or Frozen to lock it in place through a different mechanic. Knockback abilities can reposition a Hardy elite away from your cats without needing a stun. Classes with high burst damage like the Psychic or Berserker can offset the loss of stun time by simply killing the threat faster. Prioritize raw damage output and positioning over control when facing Hardy enemies.
