Überman

Movement: 1

Uberman is a hulking melee enemy from The Future chapter with 20 HP and slow movement. Internally known as "Fat Man," his name references the philosophical concept of the Ubermensch. Despite his sluggish pace, Uberman is one of the most mechanically punishing enemies in the game, combining projectile reflection, contact knockback, and Trample into a single relentless threat.

Uberman reflects all projectiles back at their source, making ranged attacks actively dangerous to the attacker. Any unit that makes direct contact with his body is knocked back and Bruised, and he tramples over everything during movement, inflicting additional Bruise damage along his path. Even after death, his corpse retains increased health and blocks movement, creating a persistent physical obstacle that can disrupt positioning for the rest of the encounter.

Avoid projectile attacks entirely against Uberman. High-damage melee strikes or non-projectile ranged abilities (spells, area effects) are the only safe options. His slow movement is his main weakness; maintain distance and chip away with safe attacks while he crawls toward your party. Consider manipulating him into striking his own allies for mutual Bruise damage, as his reflection and knockback mechanics can be turned against mixed enemy groups. Uberman pairs dangerously with Schutzbot enemies, whose reactive shots can bounce off his reflection.
