Focus Band

A head piece (listed as trinket in CMS) that makes critical hits send targets flying 10 tiles with chain knockback — the projectile can collide with other enemies along the way, dealing additional displacement and damage. On high-crit builds this turns every critical strike into arena-wide disruption, scattering enemy formations and potentially slamming enemies into walls or each other. Best paired with weapons and abilities that boost crit rate.

The 10-tile chain knockback on crits can cascade across an entire arena in a single hit. If a flying enemy collides with another enemy during their trajectory, the second enemy also takes knockback — a chain reaction that can scatter an entire group from one critical strike. Fish Hook trinket converts each knockback into bonus damage, meaning crits with Focus Band equipped add substantial extra damage through the chain.

Training Band (20% crit) and Prowler's Cap (25% crit on backstabs) stack with Focus Band to increase how often the 10-tile chain triggers. In a full crit build — Training Band, Prowler's Cap, and Focus Band — a significant fraction of all hits send targets flying with chain collisions. The head slot cost is significant since Nightmare Hat and Mangy Wig compete directly.
