Dreadnoughtus Boss Guide

Overview

Dreadnoughtus is a massive dinosaur boss found in the Jurassic zone of Act 3, taking its name from the real-world titanosaur sauropod. With 550 HP in its main form it is one of the highest-HP bosses in the game and a serious endurance challenge. It has two phases: the primary 550 HP form and a secondary 55 HP form (likely representing a separated bodypart or a smaller spawn triggered during the fight).

Key Mechanics

Massive HP Pool

At 550 HP, Dreadnoughtus will survive many rounds of concentrated fire. Do not enter this fight with a party at less than full HP, and manage your ability cooldowns carefully. The fight is as much a stamina check as a skill check.

Two-Phase Structure

The secondary 55 HP form appears at some point during the fight, either as a spawn triggered by reaching a health threshold or as a secondary body part. Kill the secondary form quickly to prevent it from acting: although it has low HP its attacks may still deal meaningful damage to a fatigued party.

Stomp and Tremor Attacks

Dinosaurs of this scale in Mewgenics typically use tremor or shockwave attacks that affect adjacent tiles and potentially all cats on the ground level. Elevated tiles, if present in the Jurassic arenas, may be safe from tremor effects. Use them if available.

Strategy

1. Bring a dedicated healer and plan to sustain across at least 10 rounds of combat.

2. Use your highest-damage abilities early before ability cooldowns become a limiting factor.

3. When the secondary 55 HP form appears, switch one cat to focus it while the rest maintain damage on Dreadnoughtus. Do not let the secondary form run free.

4. Bleed, poison, and burn are particularly effective on high-HP bosses because the total passive damage over 10+ rounds adds up significantly. Stack DoT early and refresh when stacks fall off.
