Dreadnoughtus Boss Guide

Overview

Dreadnoughtus is the Adventure Boss of the Jurassic zone, a colossal titanosaurian sauropod so massive you only fight its legs. With 550 HP across its main body and multiple leg targets, the fight revolves around a unique mechanic: attacking the legs to force them to lift, then crashing the head down for a stun window. This is one of the most visually spectacular encounters in the game and a serious endurance challenge.

Key Mechanics

Leg Targeting

The fight starts with four legs visible on the arena. Each leg retaliates by stomping toward anything that damages it and also attempts to stomp your party by moving once per round. You must attack the legs to force them to lift. Once two of the four legs are raised, all legs retract and the head comes crashing down.

Head Crash

When two legs are lifted, Dreadnoughtus loses balance and the head slams into the ground, dealing 100 damage to itself and creating a shockwave around where it lands. The head has 1 Stun and cannot act until the next round. This is your primary damage window: unload your strongest abilities on the stunned head before the legs reset.

Stomp Attacks

Each leg stomps toward damage sources and can hit adjacent tiles. With four legs each moving once per round, the arena becomes a minefield of stomp zones. Positioning between the legs rather than directly in front of them reduces your exposure.

Strategy

1. Focus damage on two specific legs rather than spreading it across all four. You need two legs lifted to trigger the head crash, so concentrating fire gets you to the damage window faster.

2. During the head stun window, switch all cats to maximum DPS on the head. This brief window is where you deal the bulk of your real damage. Save your strongest cooldowns specifically for these moments.

3. A healer is strongly recommended since the fight is long and the legs deal constant chip damage. Manage your healing resources across multiple head-crash cycles rather than spending everything in the first one.

4. DoT effects like bleed and poison on the legs help chip them down passively while you reposition between stomps.

Drops

Dreadnoughtus's unique boss drops include Mega Poop (Neck slot, +4 Shield, leaves poop behind when you move) and Green Whistle (Trinket, summons a really big Leg when used).
