Disorder

Repulsive

Reduced charisma

Repulsive imposes CHA -2 on your cat, significantly reducing its Charisma stat. Charisma affects social interactions, certain event outcomes, and may influence charm-related combat mechanics. The -2 penalty is a substantial reduction that makes the cat less effective in any situation where Charisma plays a role.

Repulsive is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. Among the simple stat-penalty disorders (Weak, Frail, Clumsy, Dumb, Slow, Unlucky), Repulsive targets Charisma, which is generally considered one of the less critical combat stats.

Repulsive is a purely negative disorder with no upside, but the CHA -2 penalty targets one of the less impactful combat stats. For builds focused on dealing or surviving damage, the Charisma loss is barely noticeable. It becomes more problematic for builds that rely on Charm effects like Williams Syndrome. If you need a "least bad" disorder to occupy a slot, Repulsive is one of the more tolerable stat-penalty options since Charisma rarely determines combat outcomes.
