Twine Set

The Twine Set combines avoidance with retaliation — you have a better chance of not getting hit, and anything that does make contact is inflicted with Bruise. Bruise stacks reduce enemy effectiveness, so the set naturally degrades enemies over time just by surviving. A good fit for nimble, evasion-oriented builds that want to soften targets passively while staying mobile.

Equipping 3 or more pieces of the Twine Set grants +10% Dodge chance and causes the wearer to inflict Bruise on any enemy that makes contact. Bruise is a debuff that reduces enemy combat effectiveness, typically lowering damage or stats. The dodge boost keeps the wearer out of harm's way more often, while the Bruise-on-contact effect punishes enemies who do land hits or get close.

The Twine Set suits slippery melee fighters and duelists who prefer a hit-and-run style. High Agility characters or those with existing dodge bonuses can push the total dodge chance to impressive levels. The Bruise application on contact works passively, so even defensively-played characters soften nearby enemies without spending actions. Combine with abilities that stack additional debuffs to compound the attrition effect further.
