Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Irritable Bowel Syndrome causes your cat to poop whenever it takes damage. Each hit spawns a poop terrain object at the cat's location, gradually cluttering the battlefield with waste. The poop spawns are reactive, triggering on every damage instance, so cats that take frequent hits will produce large quantities of poop over the course of a fight.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome is heritable and can pass from parent to kitten through breeding. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. It belongs to the stomach disorder category alongside Crohn's Disease, Gastritis, Eating Disorder, and Dysentery. Unlike Crohn's Disease (20% chance at end of turn), IBS triggers on every damage instance, making it a more reliable poop generator for cats that take frequent hits.

Strategically, IBS synergizes strongly with Scatological (heal 5 HP when damaging poop), creating a loop where taking damage spawns poop, and attacking the poop heals the cat. On tanky frontline cats that take lots of hits, the poop generation is prolific. The poop itself is mostly a neutral terrain object unless combined with poop-interacting disorders. Without Scatological or similar synergies, IBS is a mild cosmetic nuisance. With the right combo, it becomes part of an effective self-sustaining healing engine.
